London, Feb 22 (IANS) Pop star Lady Gaga wants to venture into the world of fashion designing by launching her own clothing line.
The 23-year-old singer — real name Stefani Germanotta and known for her bizarre style — plans to design a wacky collection.

“I’d love to have my own collection. It’s something I want to accomplish. I find Donatella a fashion icon and in many ways fashion and music go together,” ok.co.uk quoted her as saying.

It was the tragic death of Brit designer Alexander McQueen that inspired Gaga to sketch a few designs.

“GaGa is a workaholic,” said a source.

“She is always coming up with new ideas. The death of Alexander really affected her. She’s always loved fashion and it just seems natural for her to create her own collection. For her everything is about art. Whether it’s music or fashion, to her it’s about expressing an art form,” added the source.
