Lady Gaga to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11

New York, Sept 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Pop singer Lady Gaga has confirmed that she will be part of the campaign to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in the United States. The event is the brainchild of Viacom and it will bring together several stars including Julianne Hough, Nas, Drake Bell and DJ Pauly D.

The campaign has been dubbed “I Will.” The participants who will be watching will be asked the question, “Ten years later, what will you do to remember?”

In the promo which was posted by Viacom, Lady Gaga recounted the attacks saying, “We were in disbelief…We all watched the second tower fall together.” She watched the tower fall with a friend who was in New York with her.

Pauly D also spoke about the incident and revealed what he will be doing on the anniversary. He said that, “You almost feel a sense of helplessness. I will call all my family members on that day.”

Viacom will start airing the campaign on its networks throughout the United States from the 6th of September. The campaign will end on Sunday. The stars who have accepted to be part of the campaign will work with the staff of Viacom during the broadcasts of the special campaign.
