Los Angeles, May 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lady Gaga has gotten tested for the genetic disease Lupus. Apparently the disease was also responsible for the death of her aunt. Since she was facing a lot of medical problems since some time, so she thought that it was prudent enough to get herself tested for the disease. In 2009, Lady Gaga was repeatedly battling numerous medical problems that included difficulty in breathing, stress, headaches and even non-clear vision.

Her aunt was barely 19 years when she died from lupus, which is a disease that attacks the immune system and makes it very weak. According to Britain’s The Times, she said that, “Yes (I have been tested). But I don’t want anyone to be worried… I have heart palpitations… but it’s OK. It’s just from fatigue and other things. I’m very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It’s a very personal thing. I don’t want my fans to be worried about me.”

She also admitted that she is not a drug addict, even though she occasionally uses them. She also divulged that she smokes and even sometimes uses ecstasy. But she was honest enough to admit that she doesn’t do cocaine.
