London, Nov 9 (ANI): An American actress has accused Lady Gaga of stealing her ex-boyfriend Luc Carl.

Alex Stebbins claimed she didn’t stand a chance of keeping hold of her boyfriend of a year after the Poker Face star apparently decided she wanted him.

The 21-year-old claimed she couldn’t put up a fight to keep her romance alive as taking on Lady Gaga would be ‘like fighting Jesus’.

“She’s the most powerful woman in the world, and there’s no winning,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

“She can literally have anything she wants and I had the one thing she couldn’t have, and that made her want it even more,” she said.

Carl, a barman from New York, had previously dated Gaga before she was famous.

After three years together in 2008 they split as Gaga, was about to become one of the most talked about women in the world. A year later he met Stebbins, who has had minor roles in several TV shows including Law and Order.

Stebbins said she knew about Gaga, but alleged the trouble began when Gaga found out her ex was now involved with another woman. She said Gaga was their only problem in what she described as a ‘perfect relationship.’

“It was really hard to be with someone who has a really famous ex-girlfriend who would stop at nothing to get him back,” she claimed.

The actress told the New York Post that Luc confessed around her 21st birthday in June that Gaga had begged him to take her back.

Days later Stebbins was back with Gaga and she was seen buying him flowers and the pair kissing. Stebbins said Gaga had been texting and calling Luc three months into their relationship.

“Luc ignored her. He said he was done with her. All they did was fight. She’d pick at him for anything, and he couldn’t take it. He said she was a very jealous person,” she said.

“Carl and Gaga have since been seen together and he was by her side during her infamous appearance at a baseball match last summer when she flashed the crowd by stripping to her underwear.

“It was so in my face it felt like I got punched in the gut,” she added. (ANI)
