Lady Gaga says school bullies used to make fun of her appearance
April 7th, 2010 - 6:29 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, April 07 (ANI): ‘Telephone’ hitmaker Lady Gaga has revealed that she was frequently made fun of over her appearance.
“I had a very big nose, very curly brown hair and I was overweight. I got made fun of,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.
She admits her struggle to fit in at an all-girls private school in New York, but later threw herself into her work to cope.
The ‘Poker Face’ artist said that her friends still tease her that she changes totally in front of her million fans on the stage.
“My friends joke that I’m dead until I get on stage,” she said.
Now world famous singer hopes that her work will help other young people who are being bullied. (ANI)
