Lady Gaga hits back over finger frenzy
June 12th, 2010 - 5:07 pm ICT by ANINew York, June 12 (ANI): ‘Poker Face’ singer Lady Gaga has taken to her Twitter.com page to comment on the middle finger frenzy.
Gaga, 24, had given New York Mets fans the middle finger when they booed her for vacating her seat behind home plate after arriving midway through a day game.
The image, which had Gaga flipping off fans with both hands, landed on the cover of the city’s tabloids.
“A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush,” the New York Post quoted her as having written on her Twitter page on June 11.
“I bleed for my hometown, and I’d die for my fans,” she had written.
Gaga grew up in New York City and attended New York University in Manhattan, a short subway ride from the Mets’ Citi Field. (ANI)
