Lady Gaga, Green Day lead Q Awards nominations
September 18th, 2010 - 4:21 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 18 (ANI): Lady Gaga, Green Day and Paul Weller have been nominated for trophies at Q Awards.
The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker is up for best female artist, reports the Daily Star.
She is also up against Kasabian, Muse and Green Day for best live act.
Meanwhile the ‘American Idiot’ hitmakers are also nominated in the best act in the world today category, alongside Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire.
Plan B is up for three awards - best male artist, best album and breakthrough artist - and Weller has been short listed for best male and best album for ‘Wake Up the Nation’.
The award ceremony would take place in London on 25 October (10). (ANI)
