Nov.23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lady Gaga’s performance in the American Music awards on Sunday, Nov. 22 was true to her style, over the top, in your face, shocking and full on entertainment. The pop star who has been heard as admitting that she is not “sexy” in the true sense of the term, and that her looks border more on the masculine side, but whom the knowledge doesn’t stop from wearing the tiniest of outfits, came on stage at the awards function wearing a skin colored Lycra bodysuit that left little to the imagination.

The pop star was nominated for four categories: the favorite female singer, the artist of the year, album of the year and the breakthrough artist of the year. She was ousted in the first and the last categories by Taylor Swift, who seems to be winning all the prizes nowadays. That did not stop the singer from delivering the usual high on adrenaline fare that is expected when she is on stage. The entry was smashing, literally, with the singer jumping through a glass door and smashing it in the process at the wake of her latest hit “Bad Romance” from her album “The Fame Monster.” The part of the performance when she broke the glass door with her microphone to get to the piano sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Lady Gaga’s performance was eye popping to say the least, and definitely the real charmer of a rather boring evening. The thing about Lady Gaga is that she cannot be ignored. Reprimanded several times for her overly explosive outfits and weird fashion sense, she continues to entertain, no matter what.
