Jan.2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) 2009 had been an eventful year for some musical bands and singers. Popular American music band Lady Antebellum which, bagged a number of awards in 2009, is looking forward to 2010 and has some trumps up its sleeve. It got nomination for the best new artist last year. The band which started its journey in 2006 in Tennessee, has come a long way and its collaboration with leading music artists has worked in its favor. The group is waiting eagerly for the upcoming 2010 Grammy Awards. The ceremony will give the band a platform to showcase its talent to a larger audience. They will join hands with rising singer, Taylor Swift.

The 2010 Grammy awards is a musical extravaganza people are waiting for and the coming together of Taylor Swift and a band like Lady Antebellum has added to the excitement. Interestingly, both the singer and the band won nominations for several categories. While Taylor Swift bagged a whopping 8 nominations, the band got two. It would be interesting to watch how the country crooner and the band carries forward their success story in 2010. The chart toppers like “Run to You” and “I Need You Now” have brought the band closer to the listeners.

While Taylor Swift will hog the limelight at the upcoming Grammy award, the fans are expecting quite a lot from the talented singer. She gets media attention for whatever she does. In 2009 she was linked with recent Hollywood heartthrob, hunky Taylor Lautner, though they split up soon. She is preparing for the ceremony and sharing the stage with the band. The 2010 Grammy awards will be shown on CBS on Jan 31st 2010.
