And Michael Jackson’s sister La Toya Jackson also thinks that she is the perfect person to fill in Simon’s empty slot in the upcoming series.

Jackson also spoke with the producer of American Idol – Nigel Lythgoe, about the possibility of her being a guest judge on the show. And after Simon Cowell announced his departure, she is now interested in a permanent slot on the show. “I would LOVE to be a judge on ‘American Idol’. I would love to have a chance for the public get to know the real me. I would be thrilled,” she said to TMZ.com

The producer and chief executive of 19 Entertainment Simon Fuller had also previously revealed that there was a lot of celebrity interest on, who is going to replace Simon Cowell on the show. He said that there is hardly a day, when he doesn’t get a call from an agent of a superstar asking to talk. It appears that every celebrity, worth his salt is interested in replacing Simon Cowell and Fuller says that this is now going to go on for months.
