London, Sept 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kym Marsh has jumped to the defense of her Coronation Street co-star Brooke Vincent. Reports that Brooke was spotted working at a local pub sparked media debate on how she spends her money.

When the reports came out last week, Brooke defended herself on Twitter when she wrote that, “1. My mate was ill so I covered for her!. 2.I didn’t used to work there at all I help out every now & then (sic).”

There have been suggestions that Brooke misused her money when she went on vacation recently. She is paid £6.08 an hour for a seven-hour shift at the White Room in Whitefield. Marsh says Brooke is not desperate for cash. She addressed the report in an interview which was published recently.

Marsh defended Brooke recently when she said that, “A lot was made about my Corrie co-star Brooke Vincent working in a bar in Manchester last week. Some reports even speculated that she was doing it because she’d been on a few holidays and was skint! It amazes me that people jump to conclusions just from a picture.”

Marsh denied that Brooke was desperate for cash saying she only work part time as a hobby. Marsh was speaking to the latest edition of the magazine New.
