London, July 01 (ANI): Kylie Minogue is set to play a tattoo-clad rock chick in new flick - her first film role in almost a decade.
The ‘Cant Get You Out of My head’ hitmaker rose to fame in Australian soap opera Neighbours in the 1980s before launching a hugely successful singing career.
She made a handful of movie appearances in the 1990s, with roles in ‘The Delinquents’ and ‘Street Fighter,’ playing a part as the Green Fairy in ‘Moulin Rouge!’ in 2001.
The singer has now landed a new movie role in ‘Jack And Diane,’ opposite Juno Temple, Jena Malone and Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough, and is in New York to start filming her scenes, reports the Daily Express.
The movie follows the story of two teenage girls in New York City and is due for release next year (11). (ANI)
