K.V. Anand Completes Ko

July 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Cinematographer K.V. Anand made his directorial debut with Kana Kanden and later shot to fame with his magnum opus Ayan starring Surya in lead role. The director is now filming his next project titled Ko that has Jeeva, Ajmal, and Karthika in lead roles.

Recently, Peter Hein had choreographed a fantastic stunt sequence featuring Jeeva, Ajmal, and Prakash Raj across the busiest streets of Mint in Chennai. Since, it’s a climax fight sequence; K.V. Anand wanted these stunts to be shot in an unparalleled style of Hollywood standards. Naturally, Peter Hein surpassed with the mind-boggling choreography, which was shot for 20 days.

Producer Kumar of R. S. Infotainment, who saw the footages was enthralled and apparently expressed his token of appreciation for Peter Hein by gifting him an expensive I-phone.

The crew consisting of K.V. Anand, Jeeva, Karthika and other technicians will shortly fly to China and Norway for shooting couple of songs.

Ko has a musical score by Harris Jayaraj with Richard handling cinematography. K.V. Anand had earlier signed Silambarasan to perform the lead role of a photo journalist and later was replaced by Jeeva.

The film is reported to be inspired from Russell Crowe’s political thriller State of Play.
