Kutcher involved in a $290 million court battle

Moore filed for divorce late last week after tumultuous six years of marriage characterized by rumors of infidelity and apologies.
Hollywood Life reports that the couple has other things to worry about aside their marriage ending. The two are estimated to be worth about $290 million and how they will divide that amount is a contentious issue.
Different states have different laws regarding how the family fortune is split. In the state of California, couple’s who end their marriage are required to split their fortune in the middle. Hollywood Life reports that Moore seems to have provided most of the family fortune but she stands in greater chance to keep them.
The actress who was very vibrant in the 1990s reportedly had over $90 million and several properties including a $1 million doll collection before the marriage. She is expected to notify the court about that. Kutcher on the other hand is receiving $500,000 a month for his job at “Two and a Half Men.” Depending on the ruling, Kutcher might be required to share the proceeds from the show including future episodes.
