The statue will be unveiled in Cobain’s hometown of Aberdeen, WAN, reports TMZ.
The guitarist’s grandfather as well as former band members from Nirvana are expected to attend the ceremony.
Lora Malakoff, the statue’s artist, said the guitar will rest near the infamous Young Street Bridge, which the musician often sought refuge under to write lyrics. (ANI)
