Kunal May Take Up Fanaa

June 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Home is where your heart lies. However, Kunal Verma’s heart seems to lie with Balaji Telefilms. The actor, who had snubbed “Fanaa’ initially, might invariably end up doing this show on Star One.
“Kunal, who had been offered the parallel lead, earlier, might eventually play the male lead Abhay. There are a few issues which need to be sorted out. Hopefully, Kunal will be signed soon. The hunt for Piya, the main lead is still on,” said a source.
When contacted, Kunal Verma said, “I can’t comment on anything now. I’m taking it up with Balaji again. The exact picture will be clear in a few days.”
“Fanaa’ is the desi version of the international hit series “Twilight’. The show also stars Priya Wal (Remix fame) and Manoj Chandila. It was meant to go on air from June 14 but the delay in finalising the cast has pushed the show back further.
