October 25, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Recent reports suggest that the ‘Sex and the City’ actress Kristin Davis all set to star in her very own comedy show ‘The Happiness Project’. The actress has signed a contract with the NBC TV network for the upcoming comedy series. Kristin davis was recently seen in the movie ‘Couples Retreat’ starring opposite Vince Vaughn.

In the upcoming comedy show Kristin is going to play the role of a writer from New York city who spends a year of her life trying out different theories on how to find true happiness. The comedy series is based on the best-selling memoir written by Gretchen Rubin. However NBC has indicated that the script for the show will be written by the famous writer Kristin Newman (from the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ fame). Rubin a former clerk for the Supreme Court justice Sandra Day O’Connor has written the book on her real-life experiences.

Kristin newman is likely to become the executive producer for the upcoming comedy series as well. The grapevine suggests that Kristin davis was a regular follower of the blog version of ‘The Happiness Project’ and she took up the initiative to make a TV adaptation. The comedy series will show Kristin trying all the popular recipes for happiness for a whole year.

Her character will be seen trying out the most common notions like noticing the little things in life, smiling, exercising etc. Since Kristin Davis has been a huge fan of this series and she is likely to impress the audience with her tips on how to find happiness.
