Los Angeles, Jan 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Tony award winner and the Emmy nominee Kristin Chenoweth is a guest judge for the American Idol show. The other judges on the show would be Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.

Kristin Chenoweth and Kara DioGuardi hit off instantly and their women-power was on full display, with their omnipresent giggles and girlie-high-five moments. Both of them were in tandem with each other, but Simon Cowell wasn’t much impressed with their bonhomie. “I think we’re too loud for Simon,” Chenoweth said after she demonstrated how to nail an extra high note. “Simon, are we bugging you?” she jokily asked him. But Simon Cowell didn’t look amused at all and wasn’t interested much in their conversation either. This is Simon Cowell’s last season as a judge for the American Idol. There is a lot of speculation on, over who is going to fill in his shoes as a judge on the show.

Kristin Chenoweth is a classically trained soprano herself so she was quite an ideal choice for the role of the American Idol judge. Kristin has starred on Broadway in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Wicked amongst other plays. Besides this she has also appeared in numerous TV shows as well as movies. As a trained singer, she has also released 3 albums.
