Melbourne, June 28 (ANI): Twilight star Kristen Stewart doesn’t seem to be too comfortable with the mega stardom that she has achieved with the success of the ‘Twilight’ series.

The actress received much flak recently over her not-so-friendly attitude with fans during her ‘Eclipse’ promotional tour in Australia.

“You don’t see the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre, intrusive questions being asked or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor lit up by a flash,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Stewart as telling a British magazine.

The American star doesn’t like being hounded by the paparazzi too.

“It’s so… The photos are so… I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time, I can’t handle it. It’s f*cked. I never expected this would be my life,” she added.

On the other hand, she also said: “I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t do this. I’m sure I’d find something else. The thing about acting [is], you could get into something else. You could write, because you have that mind. If you couldn’t act, it would definitely manifest in different areas. But I’d be devastated. I don’t want to stop.”

While Stewart has not spoken about her relationship with co-star Robert Pattinson , the Brit actor called rumours of their engagement “bullsh*t” and is often quick to defend his co-star.

“A big franchise like Twilight is a scary thing, because it put me on the map and I’ll have it my whole life. So it’s important to get along with my partner, and Kristen is the perfect partner,” he said.

“She sets the bar high, so I must deliver, too,” he added.

Moreover, Stewart admitted that the Twilight has been challenging.

“The past three years have been heavy. I haven’t had any plans in a long time, because I’ve been working a lot. I enjoy my downtime and I’m looking forward to it,” she said. (ANI)
