Kristen Stewart serves as jury member in prostitution case
February 5th, 2010 - 5:43 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Feb 05 (ANI): ‘Twilight’ star Kristen Stewart recently served as a member of an L.A. jury deciding on a prostitution case, as part of her civic duty.
It reportedly involved a 3-day case involving a man accused of trying to pay an undercover cop for getting prostitutes.
The defense argued that their client was innocent claiming he doesn’t speak English properly.
They insisted that the whole sex solicitation thing was just a case of lost in translation, reports TMZ.
Stewart and her peers agreed with the defense and found the man not guilty.
Later, Stewart apparently requested to keep her juror badge, as she was proud of her contribution. (ANI)
