Feb 2, (THANDIAN NEWS) The beautiful 30 year old actress Kristen Bell has been away from the small screen for quite some time. Ever since she was last featured in the popular TV show, “Veronica Mars” and NBC’s “Heroes”, she literally shifted her career towards the silver screen. However, all her fans, who have long been waiting to see her in the small screen would now be delighted to know that the actress is all set to make a come back with the new Showtime drama, “House of Lies”.

“House Of Lies” is based on the popular 2005 novel by of Martin Kihn “Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time”. In this show, Kristen Bell will portray one of the lead characters, Jeannie van der Hooven, a smart and young consultant, and a graduate of Ivy League, who is quite strong headed with modern values. In the show, the pretty actress joins Don Cheadle, portraying the role of Marty, who happens to be her boss in the farm she works for. Marty on the other hand is a very aggressive employer, who can do anything to get the information that his clients are looking for. Her biggest competitor in the show is Marty’s Ex-wife and two other employees in the company.

“House of Lies” happens to be a dark comedy, and ever since Kristen Bell has acted as Veronica, she has not played a character that is as sweet as hers. The news of her getting featured in the show has made her fans eagerly waiting to see its pilot episode. Disappointingly, even this time, her character lacks the sweet girly disposition, that her fans love to see. Nevertheless, Kristen Bells is not leaving the big screen. She will soon be acting in “Scream 4″ and “Everybody Loves Whales”.
