Koel and Dev off to Paris

September 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bengali Film industry has finally managed to shed its love for domestic shooting locations and now the film makers are opting for shooting sprees abroad. Usually Bengali film makers like to shoot in cities like Bangkok, Singapore, Venice. However Sujit Mondal’s film “Paglu’ that stars Dev and Koel will be shot in the romantic city of Paris. The film’s cast and crew will head off to Paris just after the Pujas. Sources reveal that the film is about a NRI girl, who comes down to India on vacation and falls in love. The first half of the movie will be shot in India and the rest will be canned in Dubai and Paris.

The director informed us that not only the songs but the scenes of the second half of the movie will also be shot abroad to give it a polished look. Koel said that although she has been to Paris before but she never really imagined that she will shoot a Bengali film there. When asked if Koel will be speaking French in the movie she does not rule that out, as the dialogue might contain a few french phrases.

Jeet Gannguli, will score the music for the upcoming flick, he said that the music of the movie is going to top the charts with their foot tapping numbers. “Paglu’ has been inspired from the Telugu hit film “Devadasu’ that starred Ram Ileana, Sayaji Shinde, Vidya etc.
