London, Jan 1 (ANI): Keira Knightleys emerald green dress in Atonement has been named the Best Film Costume Of All Time.
The silk gown landed the top spot in the poll conducted by Sky Movies and In Style magazine, pipping Marilyn Monroe’s white dress from The Seven Year Itch to the second position.
Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress in Breakfast At Tiffany’s bagged the third place while Olivia Newton-John’s tight leather trousers in Grease came fourth.
Rounding off the top five was Kate Winslet’s blue gown from Titanic.
“There’s no doubt that Keira Knightley’s dress in Atonement created a massive stir this year, so it will be interesting to see whether it attains this stand-along iconic status in years to come,” the Daily Snack quoted Ian Lewis, director of Sky Movies, as saying.
