London, April 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former gladiators host Kirsty Gallacher has apologized for her son’s prank on the emergency service. The incident happened recently when the 35-year-old went out with her husband.

Kirsty’s 5-year-old son, Oscar, last week called 999 when his mother and father attended the Children’s Champions Awards in London. Oscar and his younger brother, Jude, were in the care of a babysitter when the incident happened.

A spokesperson for Kirsty told the British newspaper Daily Mail that, “Oscar likes to mess about with the phone, something Kirsty and Paul are very concious of and keep an eye on. But their babysitter had turned her back briefly to attend to Jude when he made the call.”

The police tracked the call and confronted Kirsty and her husband Paul Sampson. The police reportedly strictly warned the parents leading Kirsty to offer the police her apology.

Kirsty would be returning to Sky Sports next month. She made the announcement last week about going back to the network where she started her career in 1999. The management of Sky has also confirmed that Kirsty would be coming back to the network next month.
