Kirstie Alley to battle weight struggles in new reality show
November 5th, 2009 - 5:04 pm ICT by ANIWashington, November 5 (ANI): Actress Kirstie Alley is set to star in a new reality show that will document her struggle to shed the pounds.
The former “Cheers” star, known for her up and down weight struggles, has inked a deal with A&E for 10-episode series.
The series will trail the 58-year-old star as she labours to restore her curves while raising two teenagers in Hollywood, reports the Fox News.
Robert Sharenow, a VP for A&E, said it was Alley’s willingness to share her story with the public that made her “exactly the kind of star” the network was looking for.
Sharenow told People magazine: “Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she’ll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras”. (ANI)
