August 30, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The official announcement for the final cast of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ is expected to be made on Monday, the 30th of Aug hopefully putting all rumors to rest at last. Kirstie Alley is one star, however, who has made it clear about not participating in the show this year. She’s too chicken; she tweeted and went on to add that she may consider the prospect next year if she is invited once again.

The list of stars likely to take part are David Hasselhoff, Mike Sorrentino of Jersey Shore and Audrina Patridge from the MTV reality show, ‘The Hills’. The singers Brandy and Michael Bolton are also reportedly in the fray as are the NFL stars Troy Aikman and Kurt Warner. Lindsay Lohan who has been released from jail and rehabilitation facilities recently may also get to feature in ‘Dancing With The Stars’ this season.

Bristol Palin, who is the daughter of Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska, is also expected to take part reports E! Online.

ABC, the channel which will air the show has refused to confirm the reports until the formal announcement is made. The actual cast will be named in 30th August’s episode of the ‘Bachelor Pad’ at 8 P.M. ET. The next season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ will premiere on 20th September, this year.

Brooke Burke, the co host of the show said that she as well as Tom have been kept in the dark and know absolutely nothing about the participants. She stated this during a satellite interview with OnTheRedCarpet.com. She revealed that the channel has kept the information a closely guarded secret.
