conan and Jay Leno Los Angeles, Mar 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘The Tonight Show’ host Jay Leno isn’t having it easy. Hosts of other shows are taking potshots at him, and the latest to join the tribe is Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel made an appearance on the show ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ and both of them spared no expense to thrash Jay Leno.

“I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed your participation in the Jay Leno scandal,” said Letterman, in which he took a direct hit at Jay Leno, as he had replaced Conan O’Brien as the host of the Tonight Show after a lot of drama. It may be recalled that Jay Leno was the host of the Tonight Show, but Conan was brought to replace him, due to falling ratings, and later Jay Leno and Conan swamped places once again. “I’ve known Jay a long, long time and it really got to be a lot of fun.” Jimmy Kimmel also jumped in the fray, and unabashedly joked that he and Jay Leno are close buddies, yet the late-night host couldn’t help but join David Letterman in making fun of him.

“He went on The Oprah (Winfrey) Show and said I sucker-punched him. He’s always running to tattle to Oprah whenever something happens, and I didn’t feel like I did sucker-punch him. But then I looked it up in the dictionary and it turns out I did,” Jimmy Kimmel continued his tirade.
