Jimmy Kimmel and Jay Leno Mar 18 (Pen Men at Work): Jay Leno continues to be a bit of a verbal punching bag for his fellow talk show hosts, Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman.

Letterman remarked that he enjoyed Leno replacing Conan O’Brien as the host of ‘The Tonight Show’ and saw it as part of the Jay Leno scandal. He also stated that he’s known Leno for really long and it’s been fun. Even though Kimmel also admitted to being close friends with Leno for a while now, he still joined Letterman in making Leno the butt of all their jokes.

According to Kimmel, he was astounded when Leno said that Kimmel sucker-punched him when he was on the The Oprah Winfrey Show. At first, he felt he didn’t but later he realized he did. He was referring to an interview that Leno gave to Oprah in January. They discussed the fall-out after O’Brien’s departure from NBC. At that time, Kimmel said that Leno actually sucker-punched him.

Kimmel also recalled how he appeared on Leno’s show where he was asked 10 questions about nothing and he asked Leno 10 questions about stealing Conan’s job from him. He jokes that he didn’t get a call the next day. Kimmel also impersonated Leno in January, where he wore a grey wig and a prosthetic chin.

He also joked about a commercial Letterman shot with Leno and Winfrey. Letterman spoke about how much he’s going to miss it.
