Kimberley Walsh launches jewellery line
October 16th, 2010 - 12:32 am ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 15 (IANS) Singer Kimberley Walsh has tip-toed into her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole’s footsteps by launching her own jewellery line.
The 28-year-old revealed her new designs at The Milroy, Les Ambassadeurs Club in London, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The launch comes less than a month after Cheryl introduced a stylish ring line called Promise.
Walsh admits she is a big jewellery fan.
“I like jewellery, I feel at least that keeps its worth. I can’t really justify spending a lot of money on clothes when there are so many other things I could spend it on, like saving for a mansion,” she said.
Now, the singer is also planning to introduce her own fashion range.
“It’s something I’d be quite interested in doing. My mum always made clothes when we were growing up and we used to design our own dresses to wear to people’s birthdays. Sometimes you think up an outfit in your head and you think it would be nice to be able to create something. I wouldn’t rule it out.”
