Apr 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Looks like marital abuse is no longer restricted to real life. Even the apparently blissfully happy celebrity couples are not free from this affliction, as can be understood from the recently filed court documents by reality television star Kim Kardashian. The vivacious, beautiful young star has claimed in the court documents that she had spent three years with an extremely abusive husband, the three years that she had been married to Damon Thomas. The descriptions of her altercations with her former husband, as chronicled in the court documents, are nothing short of horrific. The documents, which have just recently come into spotlight, had been filed way back in the year 2003.

Kim Kardashian chronicles in the documents details of the abuses hurled upon her by her former husband, abuse that crossed the boundary of mental oppression to physical assault. She recalls that she had to constantly keep informing him about her whereabouts, and also was forced to ask for his permission whenever she had to go out. In fact, in one such incident, she remembers being hit by him, a blow that cut open her lip and threw her down on the bed, hurting her knee.

All these had taken place before the couple got divorced, and far before Kim Kardashian got famous with the reality show. As per the documents, the abuse began only a few months after the two got married. In fact, she had also been forced to resign from her job, and stay back at home, as it made it easier for Damon Thomas to keep track of her life at all times.
