Kim Kardashian has 5 million followers on Twitter

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian says that her “mind was blown” when she got her 5 millionth follower on the popular social networking and micro blogging site Twitter on Monday.
She was so thrilled with having her 5 millionth follower that she literally stayed glued to her laptop to see it come to pass. Finally when she had her 5 millionth follower, Kim expressed her shock on her blog the following day writing “…I can’t believe it! I love you so much”.
The star has now become the seventh most followed person on Twitter after TV talk show star Ellen DeGeneres.
Twitter’s most followed people include the American President, Barack Obama who has 5.6 million followers and is ranked the fifth most followed person on the site.
The most followed person on Twitter is Lady Gaga who has some 6.6 million followers with Britney Spears coming second with some 6.1 million followers. Ashton Kutcher has 5.9 million followers on Twitter and he is ranked the third most followed person before Justin Bieber come up fourth with some 5.6 million followers.
With Kim’s new number, she ranks higher than talk show queen Oprah Winfrey who has some 4.3 million followers.
