Kim Cattrall wants to return to Broadway
May 25th, 2010 - 5:15 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 25 (ANI): Actress Kim Cattrall is keen to return to the Broadway stage.
The Sex and the City star, who previously appeared on Broadway in 1987 in comedy Wild Honey, wants to bring Noel Howard’s ‘Private Lives’ to the New York stage after wrapping a critically-acclaimed run in London’s West End.
The 53-year-old appeared opposite Matthew Macfadyen in the production, about a divorced couple who discover they are honeymooning in the same hotel with their new spouses.
The curtain came down on the hit comedy earlier this month and now Cattrall wants to bring it to Broadway.
“It’s the third play that I’ve done in the West End,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
“We would love to bring it to Broadway, we hope we can bring it to Broadway, I would love to come back. With everyone’s schedule, I hope we can do it,” she added. (ANI)
