Washington , Dec 13 (ANI): Actor Kiefer Sutherland, who is spending 48 days at Glendale City Jail for a DUI conviction is doing heavy duty laundry behind bars.

His work involves host of laundry duties like folding sheets, washing pillowcases, drying blankets, and so on.

“He is still assigned to laundry duty and is now doing it on his own,” TMZ quoted Glendale PD PIO Officer John Balia, as saying.

Kiefers new engagement in jail seems to last for a few more weeks now.

Officer Balian said that Sutherland has not yet been assigned to kitchen duty, and he wont be serving food to fellow inmates, as had been reported earlier.

However, the star of the Fox TV drama 24 hasn’t yet received any visitors, other than his attorney.

As per rules, Sutherland is entitled to a max of two visitors a day for a 15-minute video conference chat each. (ANI)
