London, Nov 7 (IANS) Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman says she was getting itchy to resume work as soon as possible after giving birth to her daughter last year, so she could prove that there was life after motherhood.
The actress gave birth to Sunday Rose in July 2008 and accepted her role in “Nine” soon after, reports contactmusic.com.
“I’d just given birth, so I was like, ‘Ok, I’m still a woman - I want to do this film! And I do have a life other than simply feeding this baby.’ I think when you give birth you get itchy to get back to work and you want to feel life still goes on,” she said.
