Melbourne, Nov 14 (ANI): Nicole Kidman’s father has revealed that his daughter fears for her children’s safety, after becoming the victim of celebrity photographer Jamie Fawcett’s rash driving.
Anthony Kidman, who gave evidence in a defamation case brought by Fawcett against the Sun Herald newspaper, told the NSW Supreme Court that Fawcett had pursued his daughter across Sydney in an aggressive way.
A 2005 article, in the Sun Herald newspaper, had described Fawcett as Sydney’s “most disliked freelance photographer”.
Dr Kidman told the court that his daughter was “highly anxious” when she arrived shortly after 6.30pm for dinner at his home in January 2005.
Nicole Kidman had said to him, “I’m very upset, I’m fearful, we had a very frightening drive to get here as we were pursued by Mr Fawcett and his associate”.
She told him that there had “almost been an accident” and had been forced to mount a kerb on the side of the road, reports News.com.au.
Dr Kidman added that his daughter told him: “I’m, very worried about travelling in a car with my children with Mr Fawcett and his associate in pursuit.” (ANI)
