New York, Feb 8 (IANS) Actress Nicole Kidman cried after learning that she has got an Oscar nomination for her role in “Rabbit Hole”. The actress says her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Sunday was upset to see her in tears. “Poor Sunday. They said my name, and Keith [Urban] was like ‘Yeah!’ and jumping around the kitchen. And Sunday is like, ‘What’s happening? Why are you crying?’ Because I was crying,” usmagazine.com quoted her as saying.
“She said, ‘Why are we sad?’ I said, ‘No. We’re not sad, Sunday. We’re happy.’ So, that would be my memory of this nomination - my daughter and my husband jumping around the kitchen,” she added.
Kidman has previously won an Oscar for “The Hours” and again got a nomination for “Moulin Rouge”.
