Los Angeles, Sep 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) America’s newest celebrity power couple has emerged: Starlet Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom. They are all set to marry this coming Sunday, after a whirlwind month long romance.

It all started on August 27th, when Khloe was hosting a “Welcome to LA” party for brand new Laker, Ron Artest, at Halo in Hollywood. It was a big high profile bash in which Lamar Odom was also present.

Khloe ran up one huge bill that night of around $3000 and for some reason, impulsively Lamar decided to cover the whole thing, all by himself, much to Khloe’s extreme surprise.

It was love at first sight over the bill perhaps. They were engaged last week, but alas! Khloe Kardashian is still not sporting her engagement ring because it’s too big for her and has gone to the Jeweler to be re-sized.

“Khloe and Lamar want to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the season starts up [this fall],” a source told Us Weekly. “They are hoping to pull together a wedding within the next few weeks so they can get married and have a honeymoon.”

Meanwhile, Odom is all set to have his bachelor party, at Les Deux nightclub in Hollywood, which is said to be a formal affair with stripper poles and “midgets.”

Big sister Kim Kardashian told People magazine that the reality star and L.A. Lakers forward were “very, very happy. They’ve been together a few weeks and are literally inseparable. Khloe thinks he’s amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly.”

Lamar Odom, 29, has a four-year contract to stay with the Lakers this summer after helping the team win the franchise’s 15th NBA championship in June. He has two children, daughter Destiny and son Lamar Jr., from a previous alliance. Another son, Jayden, was only 7 months old when he died in 2006.
