Kevin Costner to honour country music stars
October 27th, 2010 - 2:51 pm ICT by ANINew York, Oct 27 (ANI): Academy Award winner Kevin Costner will present a Country Music Television (CMT) special to honour top country artists of the year.
The CMT TV special is the latest contender in the increasingly busy country music awards schedule.
The 90-minute “CMT Artists of the Year” special will be aired on December 3.
It will honour the top five country acts — Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and the Zac Brown Band — based on their popularity from digital sales, radio play and concert revenue, the New York Post reports.
Costner, 55, who released a country album in 2008, is the lead singer of Kevin Costner and Modern West — a country rock band. (ANI)
