London, Feb 22 (ANI): Former Atomic Kitten member Kerry Katona is said to be planning to reinvent her image after she gave her husband Mark Croft the boot.

Katona, 29, has been revealed by her close pals as wanting to rebuild her shattered image to win back the public’s affection.

The pop singer and her husband have for some time made the headlines for the wrong reasons, and she now hopes that without Croft around she can “make good” again.

“Kerry is looking great and is determined to get her career back on track. She’s off the drugs and is better than ever. Now all she needs is a nice man in her life,” the Daily Star quoted a friend as saying.

“She’s working hard to clean up her image and hopes that now Mark has gone she can win over the public again.

“People only went off her because of him so she’s praying she can manage a comeback,” the friend stated.

The pair’s telling final bust-up came after Croft accused Katona of cheating.

“Kerry finally realised it’s time to lose the leech. She told him she hadn’t cheated but he was convinced. She now knows she’s better off without him,” her friend added.

Katona jetted off to Tenerife for the week with her pal Leanna Sutton and spent her time boozing and sunning herself. (ANI)
