Kerala or Goa? Ketki ponders where to holiday

May 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Sukh By Chance has come to an end. There’s nothing to rejoice about it for its makers or actors. Lead actress Ketki, though, is unperturbed.
“Why should there be any emotions? Our show was contracted for six months only. There was no way that you could have stretched the story. I’ve been receiving other offers, but a new show is the last thing on my mind now. I’ve worked endlessly for the past six months. It’s time to go on a holiday,” said Ketki who played Nandini in Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint Family.
So, where is it that our Tina plans to go?
“That the dilemma. Should I go to Kerala or Goa? Ideally, monsoon is the best time to go to Kerala. I guess it’s started to rain there already. Though cyclone Laila is said to have hit these parts badly. So, I guess Kerala might be off the radar. My mother was very keen to go there but I might have to settle for Goa,” the actress sighed.
Goa is usually a place for party animals. Will Aunty feel comfortable in such an environment?
Ketki laughs before saying, “Yeah, that true we’re not among those. We’ll be merely going there to see the beaches. Last month, my mother and I met with an accident after the auto rickshaw that we were travelling in turned upside down. I was lucky to escape with minor bruises but my mother broke her hand. In spite of this, she accompanied me to sets regularly. More than me, it’s she who deserves a holiday. Perhaps, I’ll be able to decide on the destination in the a few days.”
No matter where she goes, we hope that Ketki and her mother have a wonderful trip.
