Kerala Film Festival in December
November 30th, 2009 - 1:15 pm ICT by Sampurn WireDecember 11th will see the start of the International Film Festival of Kerala. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the festival and Gulzar, AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty will be honored there. Seven modern Malayalam films will be shown in the “Malayalam Cinema Today’ section. For the Golden Crow Pheasant award, 14 films, including four Indian movies, will compete against each other. Filmmakers like Lohitadas, Mrinal Sen will have a retrospective in the festival and other artists like Adoor Bhavani, Kamala Surayya, etc. will be reminisced about.
