Doctor Ken Jeong has found his acting career more interesting than his regular medicine practice. At the present he has kept this medical career on hold and is basking in the glory of his recent movie, “The Hangover,” which was released in the beginning of this week. If you are still wondering who is Ken Jeong, then think again. If you have already watched the movie then you will know him as the crime boss, Mr. Chow.

Ken Jeong has made his name in the entertainment industry by appearing in a number of cameo roles in the movies of recent times. What is most strange about Jeong’s stint in Hollywood is that fact that he was never interested in achieving movie stardom. To add on to the uniqueness of his case, Jeong was not even a professional comedian until his cameos. Over his lunch, Jeong confessed that he “practiced internal medicine at Kaiser in Woodland Hills… Comedy was a hobby. It was like my golf. I had another life.”

Jeong’s life took a complete U- turn when Apatow offered him his breakthrough movie, “Knocked Up,” which was a 2007 blockbuster hit. In that movie he assayed the role of the mucho aggro OB-GYN doctor who preferred to bully and upbraid Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen’s characters during the final contradiction of the pregnancy. Since then Jeong has performed small but significant roles in a number of Hollywood flicks like “Role Models,”"Step Brothers” and “Pineapple Express.” His latest offering is “The Hangover” after which he will appear in Vince Vaughn starrer “Couples Retreat.” Along with this Jeong is all set to act along with Sandra Bullock in the romantic comedy, “All About Steve.”
