Kelsey Grammer wants sole custody of his children
May 18th, 2011 - 9:34 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After finalizing his divorce and walking his new wife down the aisle, Kelsey Grammer has filed for sole custody of his children. The 56-year-old petitioned the court on Tuesday asking for the sole custody of the two children that he has with his former wife.
Kelsey has two children- 9-year-old Mason and 6-year-old Jude- with his former wife, Camille Grammer. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” expressed her disgust at Kelsey’s plans to take the children away. She stated that the decision will not help their children.
During an interview with Radar Online, Camille said Kelsey was being “insensitive” by demanding that he should have sole custody of the children. Kelsey is adamant and his lawyers will not comment on the suit saying it is self explanatory.
A rep of Kelsey said that, “any statement would be inappropriate. The filing speaks for itself,” refusing to make any further comments on the suit.
Kelsey and Camille reached an agreement in February and a judge finalized the divorce on the 10th of February. Kelsey was in a hurry to get the divorce finalized because he planned to marry again on the same month. When the marriage was finally dissolved, Kelsey got married to fiancée Kayte Walsh on the 26th of February at a ceremony in New York City.
