London, March 20 (IANS) Playboy model and actress Kelly Brooke’s ex-boyfriend and rugby player Danny Cipriani is devastated after learning she is pregnant with one of his former teammate’s child.

The glamour model revealed Wednesday that she is expecting a girl with new boyfriend Thom Evans, who used to play with Cipriani at London Wasps.

After Kelly first told Cipriani that she was pregnant in January, he thought the child might be his. But he was devastated when Brooke told him that his former pal Thom was the father.

“And what makes it all so much harder for Danny to bear is that Kelly and Thom have only known each other for five months,” mirror.co.uk quoted a friend as saying.

“This is so painful for Danny, everything has happened so quickly. He and Kelly spent time together in the week before Christmas, then he found out in January that she was pregnant with Thom’s child. The poor guy is in pieces,” the friend said.

Kelly, 31, and Danny, 23, dated for nearly two years before splitting in June last year.

“To hear she was pregnant was a massive shock, particularly given that Thom of all people is the father.

“It’s no secret that Danny and Kelly had talked about having kids together at some stage. It crossed Danny’s mind that he might be the baby’s father, but Kelly’s adamant the child is Thom’s,” the friend added.
