New York, Jan 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kelly Clarkson broke down in tears after her dog went missing on New Year’s Eve. The singer says starting the year with her missing dog was the worst thing that happened to her.

Writing on the subject in a post published on American Country Countdown, the Miss Independent hitmaker revealed that, “I lost it (like a little girl) and started bawling when she told me. Seriously, I was so dramatic, but I don’t have children and they are my babies that I sleep with every night… I literally walked around for hours looking for him.”

Fortunately for everyone involved, Clarkson revealed that she later found her one-year-old puppy named Joplin trapped in a pond. Without giving any further thoughts to it, she wrote that she got into the pond and started cutting the vines that had trapped the creature. She finally took the animal home and says that was a wonderful experience.

She believes that finding Joplin is an indication that the year will be a good one for her. She calls the incident a miracle and is optimistic that she will have more of that in the year ahead.
