London, May 10 (IANS) Model-actress Kelly Brook, who is dating former rugby player Thom Evans, is devastated after a miscarriage.

“I can confirm that Kelly and Thom (Evans) have very sadly lost their baby. They request that everyone please respects their privacy at this very painful time. There will be no further comment,” thesun.co.uk quoted Brook’s spokesperson as saying.

The “Piranha 3D” star was almost five months pregnant.

“Kelly is understandably devastated, she’s at home and she’s being looked after by Thom and her mum Sandra. There’s nothing you can say to anyone at a time like this - she just needs to be allowed some time alone to grieve,” said a source.

She conceived shortly after she started dating Evans and is said to be “inconsolable” over her loss.

“The baby wasn’t planned but she was thrilled and it would have been the best loved little girl in all the world. Now all those dreams are shattered and poor Kelly is inconsolable. Thom is being a tower of strength to her but he’s grieving too,” the source added.
