Dec 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Twilight star, Kellan Lutz is all set to replace much acclaimed actor Mark Wahlberg as the latest model of fashion house Calvin Klein, by appearing in its underwear campaign. Sources reveal that the new line of ads featuring the Twilight actor would be similar to the steamy ads of Calvin Klein that had Mark Wahlberg as the model.

The Calvin Klein advertisement that was released way back in 1992 featuring Mark Wahlberg, had managed to grab many eyeballs due to the amazing physique of the actor. The billboard ads which were shot by fashion photographer Herb Ritts, gained immense attention and also contributed significantly to the ever increasing popularity of the underwear brand. In some of the ads, supermodel Kate Moss also accompanied the actor, which added on to the glamor quotient of the much talked about advertisement. The campaign became so popular that it was followed by a television advertisement which also featured the actor.

Meanwhile, speculations have been running high since it has come to light that Kellan Lutz would be succeeding Mark Wahlberg in the much anticipated advertisement campaign. Moreover, the campaign would witness the actor appearing in his skivvies in all the future ads of the fashion house, in billboards as well as in magazines. Although, it was presumed that another Twilight star- Taylor Lautner would be signed by the underwear brand, it was his co-star who actually managed to land the deal.

However, what remains to be seen is whether the young Twilight actor is able to live up to the legacy created by Mark Wahlberg, who became quite a rage following his appearance in Calvin Klein’s underwear campaign.
