London, June 6 (IANS) The case against Keira Knightley’s stalker has been dropped after the actress failed to provide any evidence.
Marek Daniluk was taken into custody in February after the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star told police that she felt threatened by his regular presence outside London’s Comedy Theatre, where she had been performing in “The Misanthrope”, reports contactmusic.com.
He appeared at the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier this year where he pleaded not guilty to harassment.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service, Knightley was reportedly given several possible dates to appear in court to testify but was unavailable on each occasion, following which Daniluk has been told that the case was finished and he was allowed to walk free.
