July 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In recent Hollywood news, an ex-Batman actor showered a lot of praises for the present director of the movie. Michael Keaton, who had essayed the role of the DC Comics Legend, said that the present director of the Batman franchisee is simply great.
Keaton was definitely talking about Christopher Nolan, who has risen to prominence as the director of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, both of which did very well in the box office. According to Keaton, Nolan has taken it all to the next level of brilliance. Incidentally, Michael Keaton rose to prominence with movies like Batman and Batman Returns, amongst other films.
Keaton would soon be starring in the comedy entitled The Other Guys, where he would join the star cast of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. According to Keaton, Christopher Nolan has utilized a darker edge in the recent Batman movies that has impressed him.
Michael also said that the “darker’ aspect in the Batman movies is something that he has always related with. He has appreciated this dark execution and Nolan seems to have done it with a fantastic panache. He further adds that the now iconic performance of Heath Ledger as Batman’s arch nemesis in the movie The Dark Knight is absolutely unbelievable.
