patrick-swayzePatrick Swayze, the American actor who is best known for his roles in movies like “Ghost”, “Point Break”, “Road House” et.al., passed away on Tuesday after succumbing to a pancreatic cancer. Soon after his death, tribute for the actor was paid by his fellow co-stars and colleagues, and one of them was none other than “The Matrix” star Keanu Reeves.

Reeves who has starred with Swayze in “Point Break” reportedly described the late actor as “a beautiful person”. Keanu Reeves, who was present at the Toronto International Film Festival when the news of the actor’s death broke out, remembered his experience of working alongside Swayze on the movie that dealt with an FBI agent who later on goes on to infiltrate a group of bank robbing surfers.

Keanu remembered Swayze as he said that the actor showed a “passion and lust for life and his craft” during filming. Keanu who was present at the Toronto International Film Festival for the promotion of his new flick “The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee” seemed to be quite nostalgic, similar to that of other stars who were quite shocked to hear the news of Swayze’s death. “He was very generous and to everyone around him he just lit up the room. He had a really good sense of humor and lived life to the full,” said Reeves.

According to Reeves, Swayze gradually became a fan of ski-diving during the filming of “Point Break”. “There were some ski-diving sequences that we did together. And it came to be that Patrick was jumping out of air-planes all the time. I think he did around 30 jumps during the course of filming,” Reeves added.
